Hello SLA-MS Families! Here's what is happening at SLA-MS
PSSA Information
Dates of testing:
- Math: April 17th & 18th
- Make up testing: April 23-27th
- Congratulations! We made it through week one of PSSA Testing. Thank you for doing your best and coming to school on time, rested and ready to go!
Testing starts promptly at 9am!! It is very important for students to be on time. School begins at 8:15.
Students are not allowed to have their cell phone on their person during testing.
Be prepared!
#1: Get plenty of sleep the night before.
#2: Eat a healthy, filling breakfast.
#3: If students finish early they have two choices: to read a book or sit quietly. Students are invited to bring a book from home.
At School
Saturday, April 14th: Lead Like A Girl Conference at Stuart Country Day School in Princeton. Good luck on your presentation, Ms.Martin and crew!
Thursday, April 19th: Breakfast with Mr.Boyle in the office at 8:30am.
Monday, April 23rd: Guest science teacher, Kathy Chambliss from Northbay Adventure Camp will be doing a special science class with students.
Wednesday, April 26th: Vetri Mobile Teaching Kitchen visits. Parents are encouraged to visit between 1:10 to 3:20 for hands-on cooking demonstrations.
Friday, April 27th: Track meet after school at Marcus Foster Field at Simon Gratz High School located at 1600 Staub Street. Good Luck to the SLA-MS Team!
Friday, April 27th: Early Dismissal & Picture Day
Save the date!! Sunday, June 3rd, 5pm at The URBN Center Black Box Theater . This will be a culminating event including student art & written work through the year and a performance of original plays written & produced by SLA-MS students.Stay tuned for more details!
