IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Parents & Guardians,

There is nothing that is more important than the safety of our children. With that said we are using portions of our fundraiser from the Spring Festival to facilitate training for our teachers in this area. All funds raised from the bounce house will be utilized to offset the cost. We will also be accepting donations to assist us. You may do so using cash, check or credit card. Please contact Ms. Carrera to make a donation.

Thank you in advance,

Staci Weaver

Words from Ms. Weaver

Greetings LSLA Families,

We have had an exciting few weeks and so much is going on. Thank you for supporting us with the purchases of Jamba Juice cards. Not only are you supporting the school but Jamba Juice is pretty awesome!

Kindergarten parents don’t forget we are so close to our Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony, make sure you order caps and gowns in time for delivery. Kindergartners will be able to wear them for their school pictures.

Third-grade parents, we are working very hard to prepare your students for the STAAR Math and Reading test coming up in May. You can help by making sure they continue to do their homework, attend tutoring sessions and encourage them to read every night.

As everyone knows we opened up our mother-son bowling to mother-daughter as well, so moms please contact Ms. Carrera so you can purchase your tickets and join us for a morning of fun at Main Event in Frisco!

To those of you who made the time to come in and purchase uniforms for next year, I think you will agree our new vendor is fantastic. If you have any questions or concerns please contact, me I’m always here to help.

Please keep the date of June 5th open as we will be inviting all our new families to a barbecue to meet all our current families. We look forward to seeing you there.

Teacher appreciation week is in May. You should’ve received an “All About Me,” from the office filled with wonderful things that you may want to donate during that week to show your child’s teacher how much you appreciate them!

LSLA will be hosting a summer camp this summer. Registration has begun and the cost is $200 a week from 7 AM to 6 PM. Camp includes many exciting field trips, tutoring if you feel your student needs it, athletics, art program, and many other activities to keep them engaged and excited throughout the summer. Please speak with Mr. Soto for further information over Lonestar Camp.

It’s hard to believe that we’re almost at the end of our first year I can’t thank you enough for all of your support through our first year. Our enrollment for next year increases daily. Your positive words and trust that we are providing your child the best education is the best compliment you could give us. Everyone at LSLA is grateful that you have become a part of our family. We look forward to growing with you in the years to come and building a legacy that can be handed down from generation to generation.

Go Eagles!

Warmest Regards,

Staci Weaver
