Lost & Found- Updated!
They collaborated in their peer online community in preparation for their work to be utilized in a larger community of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and caregivers.
Students reviewed computer science skills in photography, formatting text & images, re-sizing, cropping, adding borders, and following a few standard website design practices.
Please click the link above to view the lost & found. If you see something that belongs to your student, contact their classroom teacher or have your student retrieve the item from the ramp in the hallway outside the multi-purpose room (MPR).
Pre-order a Yearbook!
The deadline to pre-order a copy is March 15, 2023. Any additional copies that we receive will be sold on a first come, first served basis.
Pre-ordered yearbooks will be delivered directly to your student towards the end of the school year.
If you have any questions, contact Ms. Lisa (lisa.odonnell@sccpss.com).
Grace & Courtesy Emphasis
Throughout the school year, Ellis has a school-wide focus on specific positive character traits. Each teacher may choose to highlight these "Grace & Courtesy" emphases differently, but as a school we follow a general common curriculum.
From February 6th-February 17th, our school-wide Grace & Courtesy emphasis is ASSERTIVENESS.
The language for identifying/naming ASSERTIVENESS in "The Self-Awakened Child" series by Jonathan Wolff:
- When I ask for what I need or want, I am being Assertive.
- When I do or say the right thing--even when it's hard--I am being Assertive.
- When I say "no" to someone who tries to hurt me or someone else, I am being Assertive.
