You can still enjoy a bounty of the MOST local, fresh and sustainably grown food around all cultivated with joy and good humor by students, volunteers, young farmers, (and one old one)!
We accept Farmers Market WIC checks (FMNP/SFMNP) and SNAP.

and so much more...

September farm stands are on Wednesdays from 3PM - 5PM.

Volunteer on the Farm!
You make our garden flourish! Meet awesome people and green up your thumb by volunteering on our sustainably managed market garden!
Summer farm work can include: preparing beds, transplanting, and working in the greenhouses. Get your wheelbarrowing on and join the fun...
Meet at the Harvest Pavilion at the lower garden. Drop in anytime Saturdays between 10am-1pm and stay for as little or as much as you would like. If you are under 18 years old you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian please. We LOVE groups! Call to schedule a group to come and volunteer. Open Farm Day
Explore our beautiful urban farm, help dig and plant in the children’s garden, and visit with the animals. The animal yards are open for visitors to meet our chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats, sheep, and pigs. Trail maps are available for self-guided hikes in West Rock Park, including the family-friendly Old Oak Nature Trail.
This is a free event, donations welcomed.

Beekeeping Basics
Join Environmental Educator and Beekeeper extraordinaire, Tim Dutcher, for a beekeeping basics workshop and honey tasting!
This workshop is for adults and young adults. RSVP required- will be canceled if registration is low. Sliding scale, $15 – $35. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. FREE for CGHS students- $10 for CGHS family members.
