How a computer works.

The monitor

The monitor

A monitor visual display for computers. The display device in modern monitors is typically a thin film transistor display thin panel, while older monitors used a cathode ray tube about as deep as the screen size.

Originally, computer monitors were used for data processing while television receivers were used for entertainment. From the 1980s onwards, computers (and their monitors) have been used for both data processing and entertainment, while televisions have implemented some computer functionality.

RAM/ROM

RAM/ROM

RAM(random-access memory) is a form of computer data storage. A random-access memory device allows data items to be read and written in roughly the same amount of time regardless of the order in which data items are accessed.

A touch screen

A touch screen

A touch screen is an electronic display, you usually find them on a smartphone. However, with the development in technology you can even find them on computers (laptops more often) and TV's. You can also find attachments such as touch screen gloves and styluses.

Motherboards

The motherboard serves to connect all the parts of the computer together.

Operating system

An operating system is the most important software that runs on a computer. It manages the computer's memory, processes, and all of its software and hardware. It also allows you to communicate with the computer without knowing how to speak the computer's language. Without an operating system, a computer is useless.
