Also, CPA/Grade-Level Meeting:
1)what do you want them to learn?

- I will be out all day today so Sra. Hamer and Sra. Buell are in charge. (Thank you, both!) I was invited to help represent TPS at a an OSU job fair. Also, Human Capital told me that we should not be losing any vacancies due to budget issues, and we should still get our 5th grade additional position. I was thrilled to hear this and am anxiously awaiting another great year with you all next year. And don't forget, my door is open if anything changes in these last few months. This can be the time of change and I am only your biggest supporter in everything.
- Since I will be out, let's reverse the CPA/Grade-level meetings. Today will be grade-level, and next week CPA, then the 21st grade-level, and the 28th CPA. Sorry for the mix-up. Please, support each other as much as possible and reflect on our instructional focuses found at the top, as well as the mission and vision of our amazing school.

Online gradebook
An updated and accurate grade book is an invaluable tool for all educators. It is expected that grade books will be updated on a weekly basis. Please perform a gradebook report on PowerSchool each Friday to ensure grades are not lost when report cards go out. TPS policy requires a minimum of:
· 2 grades per week for Reading
· 2 grades per week for Math
· 1 grade per week for Social Studies
· 1 grade per week for Science.
· 4 grades per quarter for Specials subjects
· Grades from library projects will be infused into the grade book of the subject it is covering as needed.
Have a GREAT WEEK! You are the best of the best, and I am blessed to be with such great professionals like YOU! This is the best school in the nation!
Rasgo del mes
I promise to persevere until the END of the year along your side!!! Help, support, and love each other. We are a family and I am so happy with you all! Thank you for making ZIS great.
With Honor
Celebrating 100 years of true compassion!
ZIS Focuses on...
Remain calm and stress free. Open communication and various supports will make the end of the year a breeze. We got this!
ZIS Family Member of the Week
Cordialmente,
(I, Sr. Kellito, was only thinking of ZIS faculty, etc., but Sra. Aubert sent me this and I think it is so wonderful and sweet. We do need to let parents know how great they are, too. Thank you, Sra. Aubert, for opening my eyes, also. This is why we are great as a whole...different ideas, etc. So energized by you all!)
My nominations so far...
Catalano's family (Sharon is the BEST...I know, she was principal of the day, but she deserves it)
Simpson's (Rachel has been excellent behind scenes coordinating not just Viva Zarrow, but many other things)
Uy family (years of coordinating Science enrichment and other activities through different grade levels).
Maxwell family(Liz) I am not sure if she is still involved at the same level, but the year she was my homeroom mom, she literally became my personal- working for free- secretary.
Sra. Aubert
I nominate Ana Martinez who has been working doubly hard this past week to keep Zarrow from overflowing in trash. She never complains . She is flexible and always cheerful. She truly shows Zarrow pride!
Sra. Williams
Sra. Nájera has nominated Sra. Torres for her excellence in education and great achievements in math!
