What is a Pharmacists?

Pharmacists dispense prescription medications to patients and offer advice on their safe use. They help with patients with medication and get them healthy again. Pharmacists are professionally qualified to deal with medication

Education

The education you are required to have is Bachelors degree and Pharmacology- PharmD. or doctorate in Pharmacology. Another thing is when you are in college doing courses you will have to pass 2 exams that are required. Training and courses you will take in college that will prepare you for the job. This time period can take 4 to 8 years for education.

Income

The income for a pharmacists is about $121,000 and the median ranges from $114,000 to about $130,000. The income is different for everyone in this field. Their really isn't a range for the money and can go as high as $180,000 to almost $200,000. If you worked longer your income will be at the high range but if you just started working your income will be on the lower side.

About me

I'm a freshmen in high school who is working towards her goal to be a pharmacists. I'm hoping to get all the degrees in education. I would love to attend University of Southern California when I go to college. When researching this topic I found it was the best fit for me. My goal is to be become a Pharmacists and get a good education for this career.

When working as a pharmacist you work on your feet most of this day, often work part time and work on the weekends. Some places they work at are drug stores, hospitals, grocery stores and department stores.
