Wedgwood Weekly
Transforming Norms to EXCEED Expectations.
What's the 411
Thank you for your hard work this week. We know that it has not been easy adjusting to the new schedule, but it is our hope that this will benefit us in the long run. Remember, the advisory period will continue through May, with elective teachers alternating your core subject focus every week. This week we will focus on ELA in all elective Transformation Hour classrooms.
Benchmark scores are in and now we know that we have some work to do. The good thing is, we have a plan and we know the goal. Let's GROW our students and tap into their potential. Week one of the Transformation Hour has ended and we hope that it went well for everyone. This week, expect to see administrators checking in on you to ensure that everyone is taking advantage of this extra instructional time.
4th six weeks grades are due tomorrow by 10am. Remember, in order for your grades to be included in this six weeks report card, please make sure the due dates are between 1/7/2020 - 2/14/2020. If you need assistance, please speak with Ms. Elliott.
Tutorials will continue this week. Since we did not have school on Monday, Math will be tutoring students on Friday.
Tutoring days:
*Monday - Math (Carpenter)
*Tuesday - ELA (Dunn)
*Wednesday - Science (C. Smith)
*Thursday - Social Studies (Ramos)
Key Reminders:
- DO NOT release students until you hear the bell!
- No passes during the first or last 10 minutes of any class period.
- No passes during 8th period unless it is an emergency.
- Please help clear your hallways during each passing period (even during your planning).
- Walk your students to lunch in an organized and quiet fashion.
- No cell phone for students during school hours.
- Lesson plans are due in Google Classroom every Friday.
- Post your current lesson plans outside your door every Monday morning.
Wedgwood Hour
There will be some kinks to work out, but eventually things will start to flow with ease. We just need your continued support. If you have suggestions on how to make it work better, please send an email to Mrs. Sanders or Mr. Burrell. #TeamworkMakestheDreamWork

Remember, if students need to report a missing chromebook, need a repair, or are new to campus and need a chromebook issued, please use the forms below. Do NOT send students to my office regarding chromebooks for any reason. I will return them to your classroom. Please follow the procedure and have them fill out the google forms.
You may post these forms in your google classroom if necessary. Also, if needed, you can fill out the form for your students. I will work on Chromebooks on Mondays and Fridays. So encourage students to get them in quickly.
