Song #3- We Used To Be Friends by The Dandy Warhols
This song relates to Julius Caesar because Brutus and Caesar used to be friends, but then he turned on him and ended up killing him in the end of the story. In the beginning, Brutus didn’t fully support Caesar but he didn’t dislike him unlike Cassius. As the story progressed, Brutus was one of the main conspirators who was plotting to kill Caesar. In the song it says, “A long time ago, we used to be friends But I haven't thought of you lately at all.” this relates because Brutus and Caesar were once good friends, but as the play went on their friendship slowly diminished.
