Write Score - Grades 3, 4, & 5
A Write Score webinar was offered on Sept. 20 but it was during instruction. The recording of that webinar has now been posted. It is here: http://tinyurl.com/oorhmxc and then scroll to “Webinars by Write Score”. You will se a link labeled "Write Score Writing Webinar - ES - 2016". You will need your county credentials to sign in to view these items.
PLEASE NOTE the resources available on that page as well, including a guided script for how to administer the Write Score assessment, rubrics used for scoring the assessment, and test-taking features the students will have access to when they take the assessment.
Our first window for Write Score is the week of Oct. 3-7. Please sign up for a computer lab/chrome book time for your class to take this assessment.
Spelling Bee Info
Check your email for detailed Spelling Bee lists and information.
Grades 4 and 5, please hold a classroom spelling bee. I need the winner (and runner up) of your class bee by October 28 so they will have time to prepare for the school bee.
Grades K-3, if you choose to do a classroom bee, let me know your winners by November 11 and I will get Bee certificates for your winners along with recognition at the school bee.
The school spelling bee will be held December 2 at 8:15 am.
More logistical information will come soon for the school level bee.
