Curriculum Night

Building strong relationships between parents and teachers is a key to your child's success in school and we value your partnership. During the first week of school, we will schedule virtual curriculum nights for parents to attend. These are important meetings to get to know your child's teacher and open the lines of communication. Please plan to tune in to these virtual meetings to start the year on a positive path. For more information, please click the Curriculum Night picture above.

Student Materials Pick-Up

At the start of our second week of school, we will provide our students and families with the opportunity to drive up to the school to acquire needed resources and materials while at home during remote learning. Please click to enlarge the image below and get further information.

Suggested Supply Lists

Suggested school supply lists will be posted on school websites. Teachers will also let students know if certain supplies are recommended for their class.

~ What To Expect the First Week of School ~

As the first week of school gets underway, teachers will work with their students to build connections and establish routines. The focus during the opening days of the school year will be on relationship building and supporting students with technology and structures that teachers will utilize during remote learning. Teachers will assess students to measure their skills and knowledge in order to plan the most effective instruction possible. This process will allow teachers to identify their students' strengths and areas of focus. Introduction of new skills and content, focused on what we have identified as key essential curricular standards, will then follow, likely not until after students have been in school for several days. We feel taking such an approach is critical in helping our kids feel supported and in designing instruction that provides the appropriate level of support and challenge for every learner.
