A Time for Thanksgiving
As we plan for time with our own families, we can't help but reflect on all that we are thankful for here at Blanton. We know that student learning is why we are here, but your children mean so much more to us. The relationships our staff members have built with your children make the learning fun and even more meaningful. We are grateful for these relationships as we have the opportunity to watch your children grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We are also appreciative of all of you, our Blanton families. Your generosity and supportive spirit truly make a difference in the work that all educators do. We value our relationships with all of you as our students would not be as successful without it. We are also grateful for our Blanton staff who invest their hearts into working with children. Their energy and commitment to the work they do is truly a great blessing.
Yes, it is indeed a time for thanksgiving.

Sadie's Sleigh Drop Off at Blanton
We are so excited to partner once again with the Sadie Keller Foundation during this special time of year. Sadie’s vision last year was to collect 10,000 toys for the brave cancer fighters in the hospital over the holidays. Last year, Sadie surpassed her goal by collecting more than 12,000 toys with the support of friends, family, our amazing community, and businesses around the area. With your help, Sadie hopes to collect even more toys this year. Sharing the magic of the holiday season positively impacts the lives of those affected by cancer and is a goal dear to Sadie’s heart.
Our school will support Sadie’s Sleigh by collecting new unwrapped toys now through December 2nd. A collection box will be available at the front office and in some of our hallways.
Please help Sadie today by donating a new unwrapped toy!
Additionally, the Sadie Keller Foundation would like to invite you and your family to Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, December 7th at the Harpool Middle School Cafeteria. Details will be posted soon on the Sadie Keller Foundation Facebook page and promoted throughout Lantana.

Thank you for your support!
