After watching yet another national news report describing a school district employee, a teacher assistant, who assaulted a student in the classroom. I would like to provide you with some Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) reminders we shared with SpEd teachers who have been trained with the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention philosophy. It is important to remember this time of year is stressful to everyone. Avoid Power Struggles.
