AGS Library News
Book club will meet on Tuesday, June 11 and June 25 at lunch time in the Vaughan Jones Room at the back of the library. This is a great opportunity for students of all year levels to meet and talk about the books they have read recently. There is an ample supply of chocolate biscuits and you are allowed to eat your lunch in the library!
The walking dead
This series of graphic novels by Robert Kirkman is hugely popular at the moment. So much so that they are now being held in the Library Office. As they are part of the Browsing Collection, which is face out shelving and the Browsing books are not shelved in any order it has been very difficult keeping track of this series and we have been finding them hidden all over the library. If you want to read one of The Walking dead books just ask one of the library staff who will give it to you and then we ask that you return to the library staff. Remember these books are not for loan.
Departmental morning tea
The library is hosting morning tea for staff from the English, History, Economics, Art and Music departments at interval on Friday, June 14. This is a chance for the staff to view new books the library has purchased specifically for their subject areas while enjoying a delightful morning tea.
The Heritage Room will be closed to students during interval on Friday, June 14.
