THANK YOU
Parents,
I want to say thank you again for all you are doing to ensure your students are online and doing the packets. As teachers, we GREATLY appreciate all the hard work you are doing! As we move forward to May we will continue to do our curriculum but we also are going to try hard to make things fun for the students. We hope they will enjoy this!I love and miss the students of Taylor Elementary so much! I did not go into education to sit behind my desk and stare at a computer all day. This has been hard for ALL OF US and I greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we have learned together!
Love,
Mrs. Robbins

KINDNESS WEEK May 4 - 8
May 4~ Mrs. Robbins will be sending out a video of a reading of "Only One You" by Linda Kranz.
Only One You is an inspirational children’s book about Adri, a little fish who is about to go explore the ocean on his own. His mother and father tell him some of the important lessons they’ve learned throughout their lives in hopes that it will help him on his journey. They remind him, “Always be on the lookout for a new friend,” and “Find your own way. You don’t have to follow the crowd.” The book stresses how everyone is unique, and that each of us have something to contribute to the world. “There’s only one you in this great big world. Make it a better place.”
We ask that each student painted their own unique rock inspired by the fish in the book using indoor/outdoor glossy acrylic craft paint. Place the painted rock in our school's rock bed by our Student Pick Up area.
If you can't find a rock, you are welcome to grab one from the bed and return it painted. May 5~8 Ride by the school to see the messages on the playground fences!
May 5 ~ 8 Ride by the school to see the messages on the playground fences!
May 6 ~ 8 We will be out writing messages on your sidewalks and streets. Take a picture of you and the message and send it to Mrs. Robbins or your teacher so we can post them.
