We are excited to offer these extracurriculars and create amazing experiences for our students!

Our GLEA Baby Academy, a program that supports families in learning best practices to support their children had their graduation and will start a second cohort next year at Mt. View Elementary that any family can attend, if you would like to join for free reach out to Maggie Cruz at (prizes and food are included!): Magdalena.Cruz@highlineschools.org

  • Students will not be released for early dismissal after 3:20 pm Monday through Thursday, and 1:55 pm on Fridays.

Sign up for the Mission/Vision Task Force!

We need 5-7 parent volunteers to sign up for our Mission/Vision Task Force. This will be a group of staff and family members that can lead the work to revise our school mission and vision, create a definition for a “WCH student,” and make decisions about the school mascot (change or keep it). If you're interested, please call the main office (206)631-5200 or email heather.bibby@highlineschools.org

Our School Store is Making Some Happy Students!

As you know we started a school wide economy this year to support students and recognize them making our community a wonderful place to be. All staff hand out Dolphin Dollars to students they see being safe, respectful, and responsible. Students can then spend their Dolphin Dollars on small toys, school supplies, and snacks. A hard working fourth grader who saved up a lot of dolphin dollars won the auction for a Kindle Fire Tablet and an extremely respectful and responsible third grader is currently in the lead for our auction for a Nintendo Switch! You can ask your students how many Dolphin Dollars they have, what they are saving up for, and what they did to earn their dolphin dollars. You can even let your student buy things from you for Dolphin Dollars (like a favorite snack or activity at home or on the weekend).
