14 week Spring 2020

This Week's Focus: Biodiversity

We will start (and finish) our study of Biodiversity and begin our study of Population Dynamics this week. Specifically, we will be focusing on the hydrologic cycle, biodiversity, evolution, species interactions, and biodiversity loss/conservation/extinction. More information about the content, the location of each handout, and helpful hints for each assignment can be found in Module 3: Biodiversity Course Resources and Module 4: Population Dynamics Course Resources..

Did you know that tests are 50% of your grade in this course?

If you aren't doing as well as you'd like on the tests, ask yourself:

  • Am I reading through ALL of the module's pages BEFORE you start the test?
  • Are you watching the Jigsaw Sessions for help with the concepts on the test BEFORE you start the test?
  • Are you asking questions about what you don't understand BEFORE you start the test?

If you aren't doing ALL of these things, why not try doing them just once? It couldn't hurt your grade and you just might be surprised with how well you do on the test!
