Central Community Newsletter
November 2020
Dear CCES Families,
It is hard to believe that November has arrived and we have made it through an entire quarter of the school year. Students have been working hard adjusting to all the new routines we have put in place this school year to keep everyone safe. We are also incredibly proud of how the students have adapted and are working hard to make progress with their reading, writing, and math skills.
As we move into the month of November with Thanksgiving on the horizon, it is the perfect time to remember all the reasons we have to be thankful this year. Here at CCES we are thankful for the way the staff has used their creativity, flexibility, and kindness to make this undeniably "different" school year work. We are also thankful for all of our students. They are the reason we are here each day and most importantly we are thankful for all of the joy they bring to our work. Finding the reasons to be thankful and grateful is the purpose of the season. As always, enjoy the upcoming holiday and know that we are here if you need us.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Nickerson and Ms. Wyman

Physical Education Reminders
Physical Education class will continue to be held outside as much as possible, as we move into the fall and winter months. Please make sure to send your child with heavy coats, hats, gloves and appropriate footwear for the weather. We want to continue to be safe and healthy for outside PE class.
Mindful Practices
During this stressful time of implementing new school practices and routines, encouraging mindful practices can help reduce stress for both yourself and your student. If your child is feeling stressed or anxious, we are here to help. Please reach out to Mrs. Blanchard, our School Counselor, if you would like additional support or resources for your student.
