Try-It! Illinois Returns: FREE Database Trial Period Available Through November 30

Believe or not, now is the time to test out databases with your classes to identify possible purchases for the 2014-2015 school year. Our subscriptions to Pop Culture Universe, Literary Reference Center, Discovering Collection, and Teen Health & Wellness all came from teachers making recommendations to Ann Marie after testing out a new database.

"The State Library is pleased to announce that Try-It! Illinois, our popular, free annual statewide electronic database trial, has returned and is available through November 30, 2013. The trial offers all ILLINET member libraries, their staffs and patrons an opportunity to evaluate a wide variety of electronic resources. Thanks to a collaboration between the State Library and the participating electronic resource vendors, there is no charge for accessing these databases during Try-It! Illinois."
