In reading, we will begin learning about author's viewpoint and persuasive texts. We will explore persuasion through articles, books, letters, and ads. We will also be identifying and creating analogies.
In writing, we will be writing persuasive texts and letters. Students will have to persuade their readers.

Cupcake/Birthday Policy
According to the handbook, cupcakes for birthday parties are reserved for the last 15 minutes before dismissal. Dismissal times (listed in the handbook) are as follows:
PK- 2:35pm
Kindergarten, the 200
Hallway – 2:40pm
100, 300 and 400 Hallways- 2:45pm
