A Little About Me

My name is Tambra B. Clark. I am a native of Joliet, Illinois and the oldest of six. I’m a mother of three young men; Christion (10), Gabriel (6) and Elijah (2). I have been happily married for 10 years.

Education has been my career path for a wonderful decade. I have taught numerous grade levels which include, 3rd grade, 5th grade, Pre-Advance Placement (Pre-AP) 5th/6th grade, and technology courses; however, my most recent duties are library/media specialist at South Hampton K-8. I received my undergraduate degree (2006) from Miles College with a concentration in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. I hold a master’s degree (2011) from Grand Canyon University with a concentration in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Technology and a master’s degree (2015) from Alabama State University with a concentration in Library Media Education. I am a highly-qualified educator in accordance with the No Child Left Behind Act (2001).

My Philosophy of Education

A continuous quest for knowledge is my educational philosophy. As a learner, one must consistently seek knowledge for academic, social, and spiritual growth. The true making of a learner is not only the attaining of knowledge but also the application of the knowledge into one’s life and dispersion of that knowledge to those whom we encounter.
