January News
Northwest Montana Educational Cooperative
From the Desk of Cherie Stobie, Co-op Director
This newsletter is coming at you a little early so that I can make sure that your teachers have all had a chance to sign up for the Science of Reading training, which starts Jan. 5th. If they wish to take it for credit, they must attend all 8 sessions. More information will be given about that option at the first session.
I also didn't want to miss the chance to wish you the very best of holiday breaks with loved ones and friends. You deserve some time to unwind, relax, and enjoy life outside of school. Please take that time guilt-free, then come back refreshed and ready to tackle 2023 and make it great!
During this season, I especially want to express my gratitude and appreciation for all you do for students, their families, your colleagues, and communities every day.
I'd like to say a special thank you to Jack Eggensperger, outgoing Flathead County Superintendent. During his 8-year tenure, he has provided countless counsel, resources, and a kind ear to all of our schools and community members. Jack will be retiring and moving to Butte, where he and his wife have a home. Wish him well if you see him between now and December 23rd.
As a reminder, this co-op does not meet in December. Our next regular meeting will be January 11th.
Have a great rest of December. See you in 2023!
Cherie
