Did you know?

Here are some things to be aware of that are coming up:

  • Marching Band Fees are $200 this year. These fees cover marching band shirts and shorts, food for pregame meals, equipment, and several other things. These fees are due to the Band Boosters and are now past due. You can pay these via cash or check (made out to the Davie High Band Boosters) or on the homepage of the band website (click the button above).

  • Marching Band Practices will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-5:15 PM and Drumline on Wednesdays from 3:30-5:15 PM. PLEASE PARK IN THE STUDENT LOT TO PICK UP YOUR CHILDREN FROM PRACTICE. We have been having traffic issues with buses returning and staff departing at marching band practice pickup time.

  • Concert Attire - There is a change of plans regarding ordering concert attire. Due to the cost, we (Mrs. Darst and I) have decided to go a different direction that is more cost effective but still quality. As a result, there are a few things that need to be done. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS!


Is your child in marching band? We are in desperate need of cases of bottled water for our pregame meals and throughout the game! Let us know if you would be willing to donate or if you know a business that would sponsor!

CONCERT ATTIRE! - REQUIRED for all Band Members!

Please see the band handbook for the exact details.

Ladies will have time during band classes to go to a private room and try on sample concert dresses. They will complete a google form detailing what size dress they need. We will then order in bulk. The cost for this dress and the pearls is $75.

Guys will need to be measured at home and complete a google form detailing what sizes they need for tux shirts, tux pants, and tux jacket (if in wind ensemble). We will then order in bulk.

The cost for a half tuxedo package is $50.

The cost for a full tuxedo package is $105 (Wind Ensemble Members only).

Payments can be made in CASH, CHECK (made out to the Davie High Band Boosters), or via the PayPal link on the website (indicate what the payment is for in the memo).



This Friday is a HOME football game against East Forsyth. Below is the schedule for the day.

3:25 PM - End of School

3:25-4:00 PM - Change, Pack, and Load

4:00 PM - Dinner/Change into Drillmasters

5:00 PM - Depart from Davie County High School

6:00 PM - Arrive at East Forsyth High School

6:45 PM - Move to Away Stands

7:15 PM - National Anthem

7:30 PM - Kickoff

Dinner: We will have a selection of pizza from Dominos.

What to Wear: Band members will be in Summer Uniform. This includes the orange DC Bands shirt, DC Bands shorts, tall black socks, and Drillmasters. SECTION BAGS HAVE ARRIVED, NO OTHER BAGS CAN BE BROUGHT INTO THE STADIUM.
