Mrs. Wallauer's First Grade News

News & Events for the Week of Sept. 28

Thank you

I want to extend a big thank you to all of the families that were able to make it to Back to School Night last week. It was wonderful to meet you all and tell you a little about our First Grade learning team. I hope that you enjoyed visiting our classroom and were able to get a feel for how things work in our room. If you have any lingering questions or were not able to make it just send an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can. The home school connection is so important to me and I am truly thankful to work with and learn from your children each day. Thank you for all of your support.

A Peek Inside Our Classroom

Please Make Note:

What are we Reading?

Check out the book trailers for two of the books we have read this week by my FAVORITE author, Mac Barnett! The kids LOVED them and book trailers are a great way to build excitement for reading while getting to know authors and illustrators we connect to. WARNING- Your child juuuust might want to listen to the trailer from Sam and Dave more than once (you might too)!*

Happy Reading!
