Opening Week
I truly appreciate the dedication and work of our staff and students getting us off to such an amazing start. The first two days saw some very hot portions of our building as our air conditioning worked to compensate for the extreme heat. However, our staff and students made the best of it and pulled through! We finished the week with a cool building a smooth end to the week.
Walking through the building I noticed that we have a poster in the building that says, "The quality of a person's life is in direct proportion to their commitment to excellence, regardless of their chosen field of endeavor". That statement is so powerful in terms of the work we do each day with your children. We are committed to excellence in the work we do so that your children can have options and opportunities after high school. #ExpectExcellence
We have seen examples of this work throughout this week as we have been in and out of classes. Our teachers are working to build positive and strong relationships with our students. Students have been engaged in quality learning activities throughout the week and are already digging deep into their learning.
I am looking forward to an awesome year!
