Notes from the Teachers
Happy November!!
ICA did a great job raising money for Jump Rope for Heart!! Our School raised over $6,000!! WAY TO GO!!
First grade is excited to participate in the creation of a Little Free Library for ICA. As the project progresses we will send out more information. Here is the link if you would like to check it out sooner: https://littlefreelibrary.org
Thank you Caylee for bringing your dream to ICA and allowing us to be part of it.
Please pack an extra uniform in their backpack for emergencies. They are nice to have available in case of spills, accidents, or dirt. Please pack an extra bag for dirty clothes as well.
First grade is in need of zip lock bags (sandwich and gallon size) and blank note/ index cards. If you are able to send some in they will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
Please remember that we are trying to keep sugary drinks out of the classroom. For drinks during the day and snack we would like kids to bring in water. Water is much easier to clean up if it spills. Also, it is much easier for students to have dry snacks. :)
Please make sure that your child is wearing tennis shoes or flats- boots are not allowed- and belts must be worn each day. Students should not be wearing brightly colored socks so please be sure to stick with white, black, navy or grey. Thank you.
We thank you for all of your help and support this year!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Cook & Ms. Jones
