Home and School Connection, Week of May 4-8

A Note from Mrs. Buckels

Hello Parr Patriot Families,

Happy May! It is hard to believe that we have made it to May! This has to be one of the longest spring ever! I hope you and your family have been able to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather we have had. I know the hot weather is right around the corner!

As we get closer to the end of school, we will be sharing information about spring pictures, yearbooks, and school supply pickups. We are still working on a plan to safely distribute. Also, please be on the look out around your house for library books and guided reading books. We are working on a return plan for these also. We are planning a reverse car parade so that you can drive through Parr and see all of the staff.

Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4-8. Please see the picture below on how you can help us celebrate our wonderful Parr teachers and staff! They will love seeing your videos on Flipgrid! Please be sure to tag us in any pictures you post on social media-@parrpatriots and on FB-Ralph Parr Elementary.

Next week's work will be available on it's Learning on Monday morning. Don't forget to check out the other courses that your child has access to-PE, Art, Music, Library and our Parr page.

In this S'more, you will find videos for each day of the week with the morning announcements if you would like to start your student's day with these. You can access them from this S'more or from our Parr it's learning page. We will also have a Workout Wednesday video from Coach Henderson.

Don't forget our technology department has a helpline that is now available for any issues you may be having! The number is 281-284-0500. They are available M-F from 8:00-4:00.
