Good Afternoon Monroe Elementary Families!

This week, our kindergarten students had the opportunity to perform songs that they have been learning in music class for their families. A special thank you to Mr. Tarbet for all of his work to prepare our kindergarten students for their performance. I always enjoy the wide variety of music and movement that our students are exposed to in Mr. Tarbet’s music class. It is also great to see that so many of our families attend evening performances to support our students.

Ms. Allen, our Guidance Counselor, has Career Cafes for our fourth grade students. Career Cafes are when parents volunteer to come into school and share information about their job so that our fourth grade students can decide if it is a career that they might be interested in. This week the visiting parent was Mr.Greg Peck. He shared information about his job as an engineer.
