    130 Years to Celebrate

Did you know that 2014 is St. Thomas Public Library's 130th Anniversary? Imagine that! After much digging in our dusty archives, we have a copy of a handwritten bylaw that City Council passed in 1884, stating that a free library would be established January 1885.

Read our current list of reasons to celebrate on our Pinterest Board.

We're excited to announce that we've taken away the old, hard-to-reach library catalogue computers and upgraded to 6 library catalogue iPads! Easy to find and easy to use! Two are located in Adult Fiction and one in Adult Non-fiction on the main level, and on the lower level we have one iPad catalogue in C&T Non-fiction, one in Juvenile Fiction, and one in the Teen Lounge.
