Fundraiser for Childhood Cancer!
PTA is spreading awareness for a CLA fundraiser! Sammy Krause is a student at CLA. She is 4 years old and has spent the last two years fighting childhood cancer. On April 22, 2020, at the age of 2, Sammy Krause was diagnosed with High Risk B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, CNS-3. She is currently undergoing treatment at Lutheran General Children's Hospital in Park Ridge. Treatment is expected to last 2.5 years.
Sammy is looking forward to completing her treatment in the near future and has big plans of spending a lot of time doing one of her favorite hobbies; CAMPING! If you'd like to help Sammy and her family with any camping expenses, please donate! Any amount is greatly appreciated!
You can donate by accessing Sammy’s Go Fund Me page https://gofund.me/6ffb0863 OR send cash in your child’s pack back/ drop off at the office labeled “ Fundraiser for Sammy”. We will be accepting donations until May 20th!
