First Day of School
Aug 4, 2021 is the first day of school!
Important info for first day!
Drop off on the first day of school:
- TK-K parents can wait with students on the Kindergarten playground until the first bell rings and the teacher picks up the students.
- Grade 1-3 parents can help their child line up in front of the building next to their teacher's name until the first bell rings. Teachers will meet the students on the first day in front of the school.
- Grade 4-5 students will line up on the blacktop where their teacher name is marked (parents can watch from the street side of the fence). Teachers will meet the students at their line on the blacktop when the first bell rings.

Pick up on the first day of school will follow the drop off and pick up map. Starting the 2nd day of school, students will be allowed to play on the playground before school begins and will walk directly to their classroom when the bell rings.

Palm Springs Unified School District follows all state and county public health guidelines which currently includes required face coverings on all school campuses (while indoors), frequent hand washing, and social distancing as much as feasible. To maintain the health and safety of all, please adhere to these guidelines, and refrain from attending any school events if you or your family members are exhibiting any illness symptoms or feeling unwell.
Registering for School & Teacher Assignments
If you have successfully completed registration, your Parent Vue account should show "waiting" by each of your student's names. Students that have just enrolled, do not need to complete online registration, but will need a Parent Vue account to see your child's assigned teacher.
