Asynchronous Learning Day

Monday the 27th is an Asynchronous Learning Day. Students will learn and work from home. Teachers and other staff members will be in Professional Development.

Students will return Tuesday, February 28th @ 8:45 AM.

For the safety of our CUSA Scholars and staff:

All parents, visitors, vendors, etc. are required to stop into the main office. No one is permitted to go beyond the front office without authorization. If the secretary is not available, kindly be seated in the waiting area across the hall from the office and we will assist you as soon as possible.

Punctuality

Arrival & Dismissal

School starts at 8:45AM.


  • 9:01 students are late.


Chronic lateness results in absenteeism which may require legal court intervention.


Dismissal is 3:35PM - 3:45PM

Parents, it's imperative that your child is picked up on time daily. We DO NOT have staffing for proper supervision after 4:00PM. Please make arrangements to have your child picked up on time daily.



Early Dismissal ends at 2:45pm

A medical or other planned appointment should be scheduled around the dismissal window. Please don't reduce instruction time for our scholars by scheduling or planning routine early dismissals before the end of the school day.


Cold/Inclement Weather Dismissal

  • Pre-K & Kindergarten parents will enter through the front entrance(9th Street courtyard) and leave through the Parker Street exit.
  • Students that ride a bus or a van will continue to leave through the Parker Street exit.
  • Walkers and pick-up (1st - 5th grade) will dismiss from the cafeteria (Fulton Street exit)

PLEASE Remember that we are a NUT🥜, SEAFOOD🐟🍤, LATEX🎈🧤, and CITRUS FREE🍊🍋 SCHOOL! For the safety of our students and staff, peanut butter products, tuna fish, orange slices, etc., are NOT allowed!

Failure to return student technology will result in a fee being charged for lost or damaged equipment. · Please ensure your scholars come to school with the supplies needed to have a successful school day. Supplies such as pencils, pens, erasers, crayons, notebooks, etc. are essential to your scholar’s school day!
