GRADES

First semester report cards are available in your ParentVue account. When you log in, choose report card from the left menu. You will see the posted grades or you can download a copy of your students report card by clicking on the view report card for semester 1 link under our school name.

Below is a reminder of how to view semester 2 grades for your student:

In Building Students

Please remember that Synergy (ParentVue) is the official, most up-to-date, and accurate grade. Synergy (ParentVue) grade calculates weighted scores that is used for the final grade in the class.

Google Classroom and APEX are supplemental resources that help students know what work is expected, missing, or due. Any cumulative “grade” calculated by these programs is not accurate.

At Home Learners

ParentVUE and StudentVUE grades will only be updated 4 times per semester: Progress 1, Quarter 1, Progress 2, and Semester 1. Apex Gradebook / weekly Apex report emails will be the most accurate and up-to-date Apex grade.

  • Students- Keep track of your grade through the Apex Learning website. You will find your most accurate and up-to-date grade on your dashboard in Apex.
    • Clicking on your grade for a particular class will provide:
      • a detailed breakdown of your assignments
      • assignment due dates
      • missing and submitted work
      • individual assignment grades
  • Parents, if you would like a weekly progress report of how your student is progressing through his/her Apex courses, you must sign up to be an Apex coach.
    • To sign up, you can send Andrew Dwyer (andrew.dwyer@matsuk12.us) an email with:
      • Your student’s name
      • The email address you would like to receive the weekly progress reports
