Message from the Principal
Dear Students and Families,
It was wonderful seeing you and your fantastic children at Patriots Day on Monday, August 29th. The students seemed excited and ready for the first day of school. Our focus this year is student achievement, safety, and social and emotional support to ensure our students achieve great success. We will be progress monitoring their growth in all of their classes. To do that, we need your help to ensure they have a great start to the school year. Students should have their supplies, be on time to school and attend school, and be ready to learn every day. Students should also develop their leadership skills and learn to socialize positively through sports, clubs, or organized after-school activities. Parents keep track of students' academics on day one and continue conversing about their learning daily.
Most importantly, we would love to see you volunteer this year. It takes a community to raise our students to be excellent citizens. I can't wait to see you and your student's success at IKE.
Educationally Yours,
Dr. Wilnic Gideon
