a little about stress
Stress is a feeling that is created when we react to certain events. It may be hard to believe, but there actually is good stress, and it's designed to protect us from tough situations. As you all know there is bad stress, and it can be long term stress that can be caused from moving to a new school, or taking a big test. When we get stressed, our body immediately tells us to either "fight" or "flight", which means to either deal with it, or run away from it. Our stress also activates our nervous system, and releases hormones called adrenaline and cortisol. People can react in anger and take it out on people or things. Stress can cause people to be sad, and get depression, or even have suicidal thoughts.
