Join District 15 as a Substitute Teacher!
Did you know you can substitute teach if you hold an associate's degree or higher?
The rules have changed in Illinois, previously limiting substitute teaching licensure to only those with a bachelor's degree or higher. We are making it easier than ever for you to obtain your short-term substitute teaching license (STS) if you have an associate's degree, or traditional license if you have a bachelor's degree.
Attend our Nov. 8 substitute teacher training and licensure program and you'll leave licensed and ready to substitute in our classrooms. The session will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Educational Service Center, 580 N. 1st Bank Drive, Palatine.
Substitute teaching is a great way to earn extra income. We pay a competitive rate of $110/day! Lunch is included in this training session. RSVP online today to reserve your spot. We hope to see you there!
