Dear Cooper Families & Staff,
We can’t believe it’s mid-May!! Here are some updates, reminders, requests, and expressions of gratitude from the PTA board.
Back in March, we were able to book the entire bowling alley for our Family Fun Bowling Night! Thank you to everyone who made this night a success! It was great to see everyone having so much fun! We received a lot of positive feedback and look forward to another event like this next year.
We were so grateful to have “Radioactive Rick” from MAD Science visit our school in March. The kids (and adults) had a blast learning about air pressure. Thank you to all of the families that helped us fundraise to make this visit possible for our children. We had over 25 participants in our STEAM Fair on April 20th! It was such a fun evening for all. Thank you to all of the students and families that made this night a success, as always! We loved seeing all of the projects!
Thanks to all Cooper friends and families that supported our school at McDonald’s in March and Romanza’s in April! We raised $550 and $200 respectively! We also raised $978.21 in our recent plant sale. Thanks as well to all Cooper Families that came out to Barclay Farmstead to have spring portraits taken by Laura Turner. You helped the 5th grade class raise $500!
FIELD DAY SHIRT SIZES NEEDED
The PTA is in a position to be able to provide T-shirts for EVERY student for Field Day. Thank you for your support this year! We need your help to make sure we have the correct size for your child. Please complete one form for each child who attends Cooper School by 5/15/23.

SPIRIT WEAR DELIVERIES
Orders will be delivered on May 15th. We have some on hand for anyone who would like to purchase. You can find some of what you need in the PTA store. Please reach out to Bridget at spiritwear@jfcooperpta.org if you have any questions.
BOOK SMILES DRIVE
Want to clear out books before the summer? Our Book Smiles bin is located in the foyer for students to drop off books. Let’s fill it up before the school year ends!
PTA MEETING ON MAY 24 - ELECTIONS
We will need a quorum on May 24, 2023 to officially elect candidates for board roles for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years. Please make an effort to come to the Cooper Library on May 24th at 6:30pm or join us virtually on Zoom. Please see the tentative agenda.

Remember, e-gift cards are available 24/7 if you’re using the app or as soon as we receive your check. A printable order form is available on our PTA website. The PTA supports EVERY child. If you are not yet a PTA member, we hope you can show us your support for all of our efforts this year by becoming a member.
