Venue: Firelake Arena
Date: May 21st, 2021
We have to prepare for graduation as if it were right now. Everything is subject to change. Little Axe faculty and staff understands what a big, important moment this is to our seniors and families. We will do our best to provide a memorable graduation for everyone.
The plan as of today:
*Each senior will be allow four family members at graduation.
*Families will sit together. Seats will be in groups of four and every other row will be skipped.
*Masks will be required for everyone.
*Tickets will be given to each senior closer to graduation. (More information to come as we get closer)
If for some reason we are told by the city/state we can not have graduation at Firelake, graduation will be conducted like last year.

Meet the Teachers
Terri Quinn- Terri taught Physical Science and Anatomy/Physiology in the public school systems for 6 years and was an adjunct professor for MSC for 7 years until she had the opportunity to go full time at the college level. She has been teaching at Murray State College for 3 years. She loves her profession and helping students, young and old, reach their goals. Giving students the courage and confidence to achieve their goals as well as showing them they CAN afford college is very rewarding.
Becky Smith- Becky taught Chemistry in Oklahoma and Texas for 16 years, before leaving the profession in 2018. She is most proud of the students who received college credit for Chemistry after completing her Chem 2 course in high school. Below are testimonials from ACT results, former students who have received Ph.D. degrees, are currently in medical school, and one who went to college on a full academic scholarship because of his ACT score.

- Mrs. Harp
2020 was without a doubt a year that presented new challenges in everything from how we live, shop, interact and how our school age children learn. School continues to be one of the primary concerns for our AFMC personnel and their families as we roll into 2021.
Tutor.com is a valuable resource we wanted to highlight which can provide help with both the K-12 and college settings as well as an at-home virtual learning environment. You and your family members are able to receive various services ranging from individual appointments providing step-by-step instruction or help with specific curriculum challenges..
Services can be requested by going to https://military.tutor.com/home and clicking on the link for “tutoring”. Access is provided free to all military and DoD civilian employees. Additionally, the Federal Education and Emergency Assistance program (FEEA.org) has scholarships, emergency hardship loans, disaster relief and discounted activities that civilian employees and their families can apply for.
Our workforce has demonstrated exceptional resilience and perseverance throughout 2020 and now into 2021. We encourage you to take advantage of the great programs like Tutor.com and FEEA.org to help ease the stress along the way.
