Keeping Up with the Thunderbirds
November 12, 2021 #grateful
We hope that all of our families are enjoying the long weekend! To all veterans, thank you for your service. We look forward to welcoming students back on Monday November 15th.
Today, our LTUSD staff is engaging in a day of professional learning together focused on equity, culture, and effective collaboration. We are looking forward to a day of inspiration, conversation, and reflection as a district team. In addition this full day, we also spend every early release Wednesday afternoon collaborating as a TV team. On those days we learn and share best practices, analyze data, and dream big for our students and school! Some of our recent topics have included launching our grade level differentiation blocks and finding ways to build community. We have been working on BIG things like creating a TV Single Focus Plan which will outline a three year plan to increase achievement for all students, and smaller things like planning activities and spirit days to help us all to have fun!
Finally, this week we have a PTA meeting Wednesday the 17th from 4-5 on Zoom, and Site Council Thursday the 18th from 4-5 on Zoom. All are invited to attend!
Enjoy the beautiful weekend!
