Report Cards
Holly Area Schools uses a trimester system for reporting student achievement. At the elementary level, this includes three report card markings on December 3rd (1st trimester), March 17th (2nd trimester), and June 14th (3rd trimester). In order to view or print your child’s report card(s), you will log into Skyward Family Access on or after these dates.
Report cards will remain in Skyward throughout your child’s attendance in Holly Area Schools. Although paper report cards copies are no longer sent home, parents are welcome to come to the school to view and/or print.
Leadership Night
The Holly Elementary students and staff would like to thank our families and guests for attending our Leadership Night last Tuesday. We were very excited to share our Leader in Me Progress with you.
Below is a brief survey developed by our Student Data Team. Please take a moment to fill it out. (The survey can also be found on our Fusion web page). The data will be used to plan our future Leadership Events.

Volunteers Needed: We are in need of volunteers to help with the Holiday Shop. You can sign up in the office, call the office or go to:

Holiday Grams are on sale in the office for $1.00 each!!
On Thursday, December 17, the PTO is sponsoring a Movie/Pajama/Hot Cocoa Day. The movie will be shown two times during the day and teachers will select the time that best fits their schedule. Students may wear “school appropriate” pajamas if they wish. (Please remember…weather permitting, students will be going outside for recess). In order to support our Green School initiative, we ask that students to bring in their own reusable plastic cup, if possible.
Community Service Project
Our December CSP is sponsored by our 2nd grade. They will be making "Placemats for Seniors." Watch our front showcase for goals and totals.
Make sure no Holly Area School District student goes without a toy for Christmas. We are collecting new toys for the Holly Area Youth Assistance Jacobsen/Quinn Toy Project. A donation bin is located in the office.

Co-Curricular Notes
The Music room has been hopping the last few weeks. The first graders have
finished their Native American music unit and our second graders learned a few
new dance steps while singing various folk songs. Our 3rd and 4th graders have been
continuing to challenge themselves on the tonette and recorders. However, the
most excitement is how our Christmas spirit is coming alive in songs! All the
students are busy preparing for our All School Christmas Sing-Along. It will be held
on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 18 at 2:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. We will be singing a few
holiday standards, along with some new songs. We hope you will join us in the fun!
If you are looking for something to do on the next few weekends, you might consider
the Holly Dickens Festival. Step back in time this holiday season to find yourself
caught up in the story of Charles Dickens', "A Christmas Carol". Hours are
Saturdays: 11:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sundays: 11:00 am - 5:00 pm. You might even
recognize some of our children singing during the event!
