SNOW DAYS
As we come back from a winter break where snow was present, the natural question becomes, “What happens during a snow day?” and more specifically, “Will the district host online learning experiences if students are learning in-person?” Rest assured that, as a school district, we value learning and want to ensure that it stays as consistent as possible. However, we also recognize that providing quality instructional experiences for an entire roster of students so quickly (i.e., revising lesson plans from in-person to online) is extremely difficult. Thus, snow days will remain in place as they have been until further notice.
Our hope is that the turn of the calendar brings stability to our ability to offer learning experiences for our students. May you and your family be healthy and well.

All student-athletes are required to be registered in our online athletic registration program. We are partnered with FinalForms, an online forms and data management service. FinalForms allows you to complete and sign athletic participation forms for your students online. The most exciting news is that FinalForms saves data from season-to-season and year-to-year, meaning that you will never need to enter the same information twice! You will review your information once per school year to verify the information is correct and sign the forms. Please take a moment and sign up your athlete for the upcoming 2020-21 Sports seasons. Using FinalForms is a one stop shop for the entire registration process. Please use the Athlete Registration link that is provided on the Athletics Homepage and create a new account under the "Parent Login" portion. On the Athletics homepage, you will also see a link for the "Parent Playbook" which gives you step by step instructions through the registration process. You do not need to pay the athletic fee until the season you are registering your athletic for begins. The registration link is: https://caledonia-mi.finalforms.com
There is an Athletic fee of $75.00 per athlete per season, with a $250.00 limit collected per family, per academic year. (Middle School participation fees are separate from high school fees.)

SUPPORT ROOM / COVID UPDATES
The Student Daily Health screener is a vital part in our managing Covid and needs to be completed daily. This process will take just a few seconds and is helpful in keeping us up and running. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Please fill out the Student Daily Health screener EACH school day, BEFORE school starts, even if your child is not in school.
Here is the link for your convenience. https://powerschool.calschools.org/public
Thank you for partnering with us to do the best we can to comply with the guidance of the Health Department.
If you have a student returning to face to face learning, please be sure to get the Daily Home Screening Agreement Form signed and returned to school with you the week of January 19!
