NJHS
Thursday, Mr. Posick invited me to the National Junior Honor Society induction ceremony. How proud I am of the past Primary School students who presided at the event and all of the children who rose to the rigorous standards of NJHS . This accomplishment is challenging and it was a real joy to hear their names and see them proudly walk to receive their flower and certificate. Here Here! Shout outs to the families of these children too.
How does that sign get changed?
Every so often when we need to communicate to the community and our neighbors, members of the Principal's council help with posting the events coming up. The children brave very cold weather and very windy days to get this service done. Thank you all!

Quick update
Our ad hoc Primary School playground committee, parents and staff, have been working on a design for a new playground addition since October. Through a rigorous process and plenty of constructive conversations, we have narrowed down the design components and the colors which we agreed to. Look for more information in the near future. Our PTO's support has been incredible and the School Board has been equally generous.
Plants around school
We have plants growing all over the school. Inside and outside, part of science and part of of springtime. Don't forget about the tower gardens in 5K-2 of them are still producing spices and different kinds of lettuce. The children certainly have grown over the year as well.

Outside the daffodils are growing too.

Two fourth grade boys are engaged in reading while on their chromebooks. The boys are reading fromo sites that compliment our reading and writers workshop programs. The headphones make for a solitary experience that will enhance the skill building.

Keep believing in springtime-it will surely get here. From Mrs. Budzien's first grade readers, a great piece of advice that can be used during lousy weather. Thanks kids!
