Renaissance music
Renaissance is music written in europe during the renaissance. In around the 16th century, is the start of the "musical renaissance".
Viol
The Viol appeared in the 15th century. It is in the string family, and was most popular in the renaissance and Baroque. The viol is sloped/curved, and is also part of the violin, and cello family.
Serpent
The serpent is the bass wind instrument. It was a particularly popular at the time. Usually the serpent is entirely made out of wood, it is usually black from the outside, and has strips of leather covering it.
Lizard
The lizard has a peculiar curved shape, to enable the individual put their fingers on the longer part of the instrument. The lizard appeared in the 16th century. The lizard belongs to the wind family.
