The Anander Corral
Week of January 19th - 22nd, 2016
I hope everyone enjoyed a long weekend!
We had a super busy week last week. We took several common assessments which you will find in their green Monday folders. These assessments help us to guide our instruction over the next several weeks. Please review the assessments with your student again at home. This will help them to become accustomed to this format of testing.
Also, your students took their reading comprehension test independently on Friday. You may notice where I have highlighted words on their test. These are the words where they needed my assistance. Overall, I am very pleased with how well everyone is progressing. Please let me know if you have any questions about your student's progress.
This THURSDAY, JANUARY 21ST is the 100th DAY OF SCHOOL. We will have a 100th Rodeo in the Anander Corral. We will be doing various activities revolving around 100. I may send an email about any additional items we will need. WE ARE DRESSING LIKE COWBOYS AND COWGIRLS THIS THURSDAY. So wear your bandanas, boots, and hats! Should be a lot of fun!
