4th Grade Spotlight
Our grade 4 students this week learned how to access the Google classroom using Google Chromebooks. During the lesson, students researched information relative to the Solar System using the Epic website. Further, Mr. Dale informed students about the importance of posting appropriate content within the google classroom and online. As such, students learned that once information is posted it remains online even after it may be deleted. Students researched and shared the following information about the solar system: Jupiter’s moon has volcanic eruptions. Mars has the largest volcano – Olympus Mons – 16 miles high. Mars has the longest valley – 2,500 miles. Did you know that Mercury is shrinking? Students enjoyed using technology while learning about the Solar System.
