Bermuda High, El Nino, and Water Temperature
- A Bermuda High is an area of high pressure located over Bermuda that occurs in the Summer and Fall. It helps steer Hurricanes towards the Coast and The Gulf.
- An El Nino is an irregular occurrence of extreme climate change, resulting in warm, nutrient deficient water. This warm water plays a part in strengthening a hurricane.
- Water Temperature is what the temperature of water is. This comes into play because hurricanes are dependent on warmer water.
