Happy New Year Gator Families!
I hope that everyone has had a great start to the new year! This new year brings so many opportunities for our students, and perhaps the most dynamic aspect of 2024 is that it feels as though each new day brings more exciting ventures into our building! As you know, thanks to our amazing PTA, we are so fortunate to have added a “GaGa” ball pit and recess boxes for every grade level that are literally FULL of playground equipment! We have now finalized plans for an additional piece of playground equipment for our 4K and K5 playground, and look forward to a groundbreaking ceremony this spring. I can honestly say that our PTA is second to none and your support makes such a positive impact on our entire school culture!
Exciting events are in the works for our Gators! Gateway is already planning for our fun winter and spring annual events. Plans are underway for our International Day celebration, STEAM Day, and our school-wide cookout, just to name a few. Our annual traditions are so important to us, and represent who we are as a school community! It is a pleasure to have the privilege to share these traditions with our Gateway family each year!
All the best,
Susan Stubley

Greetings, Gateway Gators!
Happy New Year! 2024 is off to a great start here at Gateway!
We all know that the winter months can be long and hard - but they are some of the most exciting times of the year in an elementary school! We’ve reached the halfway point of the school year and are focused on finishing the year strong. We are spending so much time reviewing student data and working to ensure every Gator is successful and reaches his or her potential this school year.
Recently, we celebrated exceptional student behavior and academic achievement with our 1st Semester Behavior Celebration and Quarter 2 Principals’ Lunch celebrating students who earned All As. It is evident that our Gators are working hard and we look forward to seeing their progress continue throughout the remainder of the school year!
We are so thankful for your continued support at home. Please know it takes a team to ensure each student’s success and we are grateful for your help. May 2024 bring much happiness and success to our Gateway community!
