Summer School Info

Driver's Education and English are being offered this summer at HHS.

Students interested in Driver's Education must be 15 on or before June 14th, 2019.

English is a great opportunity for students who need to recover credit.

SWIC and SLU Transcript requests

Seniors who have earned dual credit need to have their transcripts from each institution sent where they would like it transferred.

Thousands of scholarship dollars are awarded in April and May. Winners are reminded to take a minute to hand write a Thank You note to those scholarship committees and sponsors. HHS students are extremely lucky to have a supportive community that values the diversity in our student population- there is money available to everyone. If you need help on what to write please see your school counselor.

Registration for 2019-2020

Counselors will be meeting with current juniors to finalize their schedules for senior year soon. All other students will receive their schedule in August. Schedule changes will ONLY occur the first three days of school. Changes can only be made if a student did not request the scheduled course. Level changes require approval from teacher and parent.

Senior Exit Meetings

Seniors can request FREE final transcripts through their parchment accounts until July 31. Beginning August 1 they will be charged a nominal fee.

School Counselors met with Seniors this week to complete their exit interview. At this meeting seniors reported plans for after high school and created parchment accounts. If you missed your meeting, please see your school counselor asap.

SWIC Tech Ed Day

Representatives from SWIC's Tech Ed department will be available during lunch on Friday May 3rd. Learn more about programs in:

AP Testing

AP testing is the first two weeks of May. Scores will be posted online only in July. Students may set up their college board account at anytime on

*It's best to provide the same information on your College Board account and each AP answer sheet.

*You will need your AP number from your student pack and the card you received during "bubble in" to receive this year's scores.

SAT test

The Junior class completed the State SAT at HHS on April 9th. It is our understanding that scores will be available this summer via your collegeboard online account. These can be created at any time. Please be sure to use the same address you entered on your answer sheet as when you create your account. This is how college board will link scores.

PSAT9 and PSAT10

Freshman and Sophomore students participated in the PSAT 9 or PSAT 10 on April 9th during State testing. Test results will be available through a students college board account. 2. Enter your city and zipcode under IL residents

3. Hover over the "Assessments" folder and use any of the tools under "how do my interests relate to occupations" on the right hand side
