Principal's Message
Welcome Back to our returning families! Welcome to AC Moore Elementary for all of our newly enrolled families. Every Friday we will send out our school newsletter, The Bobcat Blaze, that will showcase all the wonderful things taking place in our building as well as provide important updates and information. This newsletter will be in addition to the one you receive each week from your child's homeroom teacher. At the conclusion of my Principal's Message you will see a link to a video recording also entitled "Principal's Message." I record a special message for families weekly that provides any updates or pertinent information in 3 minutes or less.
It was an amazing first week of school for both students and staff! There were plenty of smiles and hugs throughout the building. The energy was infectious. I am so glad to have us all here together and know it is going to be an amazing year.
Starting on Monday, August 19th any students arriving after 7:30am will be marked Tardy. They may still enter through the auditorium entrance until 7:45. A tardy slip will be given to them upon entry. After 7:45am all students must be escorted into the front office by an adult. Do not send students to the front door after 7:45am without an adult.
Starting on Monday, August 19th students will not be allowed to go to the cafeteria for breakfast after 7:30am. They will receive a tardy slip and be sent to class. Please ensure your student arrives before 7:30am, with enough time to eat, if they want breakfast.
Please rest up this weekend and we can't wait to see our Bobcats back here in Bobcat Country on Monday morning.

Panelists will have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences participating in sports and physical activity and on the ways that inclusion can further foster greater trust, belonging, and safety.
