Salthawk Spring Newsletter
Hutchinson USD 308 District Newsletter | May 2023
Message from the Superintendent
Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members:
As we enter the spring season, I want to take a moment to reflect on the many achievements and successes that our students have accomplished thus far. Our students continue to excel in academics, athletics, and the arts. I am proud of their resilience and determination.
I would like to update you on some exciting initiatives on which our district has been working. Our teachers and staff have been implementing a new literacy program this year, and we continue to work on leadership skills and mental health wellness for all students.
District leadership along with community stakeholders are working on facility planning, redefining our mission, and creating a vision for excellence as we plan for the future. Always at the forefront of our work is prioritizing safety measures to ensure our schools remain a safe and healthy place for learning.
As we move into the final stretch of the school year, I encourage our students to continue to strive for excellence and take advantage of the opportunities that our district offers. I also want to extend my gratitude to our teachers, staff, and parents for their unwavering support and partnership.
Have a great finish to the 2022-23 school year.
